Dia 119 - Thursday April 7, 2011: Rosario to San Isidro

Rosario to San Isidro (an elegant suburb of Buenos) took less than 3 hours. The drive was pleasant and mostly on a 130 KM speed-limit highway. The car was happy and we had no trouble finding our way. Carol finds Google maps very helpful for trip guidance. The countryside is fairly flat and felt familiar - going from farmland to urban.

Del Casco is a boutique garden hotel. It is small, friendly, and it offers a pleasant sanctuary in a crowded city. Dinner was about a mile up the road at O’Farrell’s, an excellent seafood, etc. & wine restaurant. We have not succeeded in breaking the habit of eating before taking pictures.
