Day 53: Golf and nightlife in Medellin - Thursday December 30, 2010

It has been a lovely day for golf in Medellin. The setting and views of the valley the long way are stupendous - the City rises up the mountains on both sides up the long valley. Due to the rains, it was lift and clean rules. It took a while to re-club for the lack of roll. I played with Noah, our host.

Carol spent most of the day researching and making arrangements until Lima. I am looking forward to some of the finces she picked out.

We had about a mile of nighttime sightseeing through our B&B’s neighborhood to a vibrant night section for a wonderful local meal. The arepa appetizers, unique to this restaurant, were served to us even though we declined. We loved them and ordered more beer. I had some kind of big river fish that wasn’t carp. Carol had delicious mondango. We certainly enjoyed the night scene in Medellin.
