Day 7 – Sunday 11/14: Grand Bay Golf to Colima

Golf at last in a beach course: Iguanas! Challenging & humid. Coconuts everywhere! Lunch was 2 beers & tasty fried small local fish at a roadside stand. We also stopped for coco frios further up the road. A 6 year boy helped us name fruit that we have never seen before and became the proud recipient of one of my gift caps. The interaction in Espanol with his family that runs the stand was charming. Once again, the drive to Colima was stunning, both Oceanside and up into the mountains. Stunning twin 14,000 foot volcanoes some 30 miles away hover over Colima. Our room has a balcony overlooking the Plaza Principal.
